Look oh look at my collection
It is becoming a trend to present complete art collection to the general public through the internet. A trend which of course should be applauded.
The European Union launched the ambitious project ‘Europeana’ and the Prado in Madrid their 'Prado’s Masterworks' in collaboration with Google Earth.
The BBC announced that they too will follow this trend. They plan on putting 200’000 oil paintings, being in public ownership in the UK, on the internet. And that is not all. They have a number of other treats which will most defiantly appeal to us all. Read >>
