Become an Author

Why should I become an author ?
As  Confucius stated 'Acquire new knowledge whilst thinking over the old, and you may become a teacher of others'.

There are therefore a number of good reasons for one to be come an author :

  • share your knowledge with fellow collectors
  • stimulate the interest in your specific field of expertise
  • inform and educate readers so they can further develop themselves
  • test case the interest in preparation of a book your are thinking of publishing or writing

How many words should an article contain ?
There are no limitations. There is a minimum requirement of 700 words. To make an article readable, you are recommended to make it no longer than 10'000 words. If your article contains more than 10'000 words it would be better to divide it into two or three articles and make it a series.

Can illustrations be placed in the article ?
Yes you can place illustrations in your article. The width of the illustration should not exceed 450 pixels and 75dpi.

Whom owns the copyrights of the article ?
The author remains the owner of the copyrights. Kunstpedia can- and will not claim the copyrights.

Are the articles screened or edited ?
Before the article is actually placed on-line, it is screened on relevance. Articles cannot be used in spam communications and will be 'disapproved' immediately. Postings are not edited in any way.

How to post your article[s] ?

Step 1
Register as an author.


Step 2
You will receive an e-mail message if you have been accepted as an author. Once you have been accepted as an author, you can login and place your article[s].
