Olaf van Halem

Olaf van Halem, for many years he has been interested in Photography but it has accelerated when his brother had been invited to participate in the World Summer Games of the Special Olympics held in Shanghai (China) in 2007. An event that both athletes, family and coaches has been driving to the next and definitely new levels. As from this point Olaf started to witness the differences in looking through a lens. Also, he has experienced the art of photography very close and learned about the wide range of styles of photography. Subsequently his interest in the many iconic photographers increased. Since 2010 he has been studying at the Foto Academie in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. His goal is to enjoy people to follow him in his journey of photography. He asks questions, searches for new insights, experience new adventures, compares photographs in different times and takes a good look at the continue changing art of photography compared to historical masters, both known and unknown. So, he invites you to continue the journey of photography and start the search for new perspectives.
